Hey 1969 Classmates: The Reunion Committee wants to say thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our 50th Class Reunion this past weekend. Many traveled from great distances and many came from close by. I believe everyone is saying they had a fantastic time over the entire weekend.

Around 70 classmates joined us Friday evening for the high school tour hosted by the High School Principal. It was a little warm but sure a lot of fun walking the halls again after so many years. Nearly 60 then went to the Elks for a fun time social hour.

We had nearly 25 come for fun at Paige's Crossing on Saturday morning for fun and games, go cart racing and miniature golf.

Then at the main event on Saturday evening, there were over 120 that joined us for the evening. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful. The decorations were perfectly themed. The food was excellent and the cash bar was hopping all evening. Class pictures were taken as well as many photos of the activities taking place during the evening.

Jim Rice read a beautiful poem and invocation as well as the names of our classmates who have gone before us. Kaye Carlson wrote and read a beautiful class reflection piece that held everyone's attention. Keith (Band Director) and Rosie Fox joined us for the fun evening. There was a beautiful memorial table for our classmates. There were many items of interest as well as a really full and fun agenda.

The entire evening went by so fast and everyone was sad to see it come to an end. We wish more classmates could have joined to say hi to old friends and catch up on the lives that all have lived and enjoyed. Like all things that we think of as the "Best of Times", this is now also a part of our Class of 1969 history. What a great weekend to be a part of.

For those traveling home long distances, thank you for coming so far and have safe travel home to your families. For those that live locally or shorter distances, thanks for participating and adding to the fun and be safe every day as well. It certainly was a weekend to remember.

Remember, "We're so Great, We're So Fine' We're The Class of 1969!

Hello 1969 CCJHS Classmates. Here is some very important information regarding our 50th High School Class Reunion from your Reunion Committee.

The class reunion will be held at Eagle Glen Event Center from 6 pm to 11 pm on Saturday September 14th. Dinner will be provided and class pictures will be taken.

We will begin the weekend festivities on Friday night September 13th at 6 pm by touring the CCJHS High School. After completing the tour, any that can join can mingle and socialize at the Columbia City Elks.

On Saturday morning we plan to meet for fun and games at Paige's Crossing from 10 am until 2 pm.

There will information distributed soon either by email or USPS mail with specific details.

Please mark your calendar and plan on joining us. Let's make the 50th class reunion the best one yet. We will be excited to see you.

CCHS 45th High School Class Reunion - June 27 and 28, 2014

The class of 1969 started their reunion with a wiener roast at the home of Gloria and Steve More on Friday evening. Over 40 people attended and enjoyed hotdogs, snacks, s’mores and lots of fun. On Saturday morning, 18 golfers played a scramble at the Eagles Nest Golf Course.

On Saturday evening at the Eagles Nest Event Center, nearly 60 classmates plus spouses and friends totaling nearly 90 people in all, attended the 45th class reunion. Classmates from near and far reunited and shared hugs, laughs, and stories from high school and their life stories since. A wonderful dinner was served and a class picture was taken. A beautiful reflection of thoughts and memories was written and read by Kaye Hall Carlson. A memorial with pictures and candles for those who have passed was viewed by all.

The 2014 reunion committee members wish to say thanks to everyone involved with our 45th reunion. It was a glorious and perfect weekend for all who attended.

The CCJHS Class of 1969 will host its 45th class reunion on Saturday June 28, 2014 from 6 pm to 11 pm at the Eagles Nest Event Center in Columbia City, IN. We will have a wiener roast - samores party the night before, just like we did at our 40th reunion and also a golf outing the morning of the reunion.

The Class of 1969 will hold their 40th Class Reunion on Saturday June 27, 2009 at the Eagles Nest Event Center in Columbia City, beginning at 6 pm. Information and details will be mailed to all class members in the spring of 2009.

In addition, for any class members who can attend, there will be a hot dog roast on Friday evening June 26, 2009 at Gloria More's home, beginning at 7 pm. On Saturday morning June 27, 2009, there will be a golf outing for any interested in attending at Crooked Lake Golf Course.

The Reunion Committee promises a great time and we are looking forward to seeing all of our classmates who can attend.
