He lived in Columbia City for 45 years and was involved in youth baseball for several years.

Surviving are his wife, Vivian ; a daughter, Claudia Knight of Cedar Park, Texas; a son, Lee of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Donald; a stepbrother, Cecil Jr.; and stepsisters, Dorothy and Gerry.

Graveside services were today at Cook/Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Texas. Arrangements were by Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, Austin, Texas.

Indiana Birth Record for Vivian Walker, born in Jefferson Twp., Whitley County, Indiana; parents listed as Marion Ellison & Mary Elizabeth (Simon) Walker but headstone in Pleasant Chapel Cemetery, Huntington County, Indiana lists him as Marion A. Walker (one stone for him, wife Mary E. & daughter Ruby A.). According to the family, his correct name was Marion Allison Walker.">
