Notes:	Betty J. Luckenbill, 85, of Columbia City, died at 11:20 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2008 at The Waters of Summit City, Fort Wayne where she had been a resident since August 2008. She was born January 26, 1923 in Columbia City, Indiana a daughter of Ezra and Annabelle (Keller) Grant. Her formative years were spent in Columbia City. She graduated from Columbia City High School. On December 21, 1946 she was united in marriage to Robert S. Luckenbill. With the exception of two years in Hollywood, Florida, they always made their home in Columbia City. Mr. Luckenbill died June 10, 1993. Surviving relatives include two daughters, Cinda S. Trier and Marta J. Harshbarger, both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Tony Trier, Scott Trier, Chad Harshbarger and Tara Harshbarger; and a brother, Ben Grant of Troy Cedar Lake. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Keller, George and Joe Grant; and a sister, Elizabeth Cornelius. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Parkview Home Health & Hospice. Robert passed away June 10, 1993, & is buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City, Indiana.
