Notes:	JESSIE R. SCHMIDT, 67, died Saturday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. The Noble County native lived in Fort Wayne for several years, then moved to New Haven in 1987. She retired in 1979 after 10 years as an employee of Montgomery Ward's credit office. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of New Haven and the American Legion Auxiliary in New Haven. She was also the widow of Everett, who died in 1988. Surviving are her daughters, Sandra Moore of New Haven and Becky Ray of Acworth, Ga.; brothers Dwight Rider and Milo Rider, both of Fort Wayne, Jack Rider of Larwell, and Thomas Rider of Columbia City; and four grandchildren. Services are 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 U.S. 30 East, New Haven. Calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials are gifts to the church. Published in Fort Wayne, Indiana, The News-Sentinel on June 22, 1992 NOTE: September 1943 changed her last name to Mueller per Social Security Death Index, so may have had a first marriage before Everett Schmidt. Parents were Alfred H. & Lulu M. Rider, per census records.
