Notes:	Lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Killed in auto accident on US 30 near Columbia City, Indiana. Funeral by Smith & Sons, Columbia City, Indiana. Buried Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. At February 12, 2018: Surviving son: Alvin McMeans. Deceased sons: Ronald, Patrick & Robert McMeans. Grandchildren: James & Candice McMeans. Her husband Edward died in 1997: EDWARD E. MCMEANS, 70, of Fort Wayne died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital. The Fort Wayne native was a veteran of the Army and machinist at Kunkle Valve 44 years. His wife, Asenith, died in 1974. Surviving are sons, A. James, Robert A., Ronald T. and Patrick D.; and mother Virginia Baptist, all of Fort Wayne; and two grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to the American Heart Association or Cancer Society.
