Notes:	Betty L. Weaver, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at her home. She was born Aug. 13, 1929 in Larwill, to Edwin F. and Dorothy M. (Linn) Pugh. On Feb. 26, 1976, she married Robert L. Weaver. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2002. Betty graduated from Columbia City High School in 1948 and from Elkhart Business College in 1950. She was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, enjoyed nature, camping, keeping in touch with family and friends and playing games on her computer. Betty worked as a banker for more than 40 years, retiring in 1989 from what is now PNC Bank, formerly Owners Discount, Valley Financial Services, Valley American Bank and National City Bank. Surviving are two children, Mark J. (Lily) Davis, of Woodbridge, Va., and Jacqueline B. Davis, of Elkhart; a granddaughter, Sarah E. Davis, of Woodbridge, Va.; one niece; two nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and two cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Allen Kaser in 1962; and a brother, Richard Tenney. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday Sept. 17 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. A procession will form at the funeral home immediately following visitation. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
