Notes:	Sharon L. Casey, 78, of Columbia City, Ind. passed away at 5:15 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor, Columbia City. Born on February 16, 1936 in Whitley County, she was the daughter of Orval E. and Joy E. (Hivley) Cole. Sharon graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1954 and attended Morehead State College in Morehead, Ky. After college, at the age of 22, Sharon's mother passed away so she came back home to finish raising her four siblings. She taught music at Larwill High School and Green Center Elementary School. She then starting working at North American and retired from Allied Van Lines. Sharon enjoyed music, singing and traveling. She attended St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sisters, Patty (Gail) Jagger of Columbia City, Sheila (Jac) Spaw of Columbia City and Cheryl (Ray Redgate)Bernth of Madera, Cali.; sisters-in-law, Carol Cole of Columbia City and Sandy Cole of Ludlow Falls, OH; her special nephews, Robert Redgate and Adam (Jessica Redgate ; three special great-nephews, Logan, Ben and Oliver Redgate; and many other special nieces and nephews. Private services were held with DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Sharon to St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
