Notes:	Graveside services for Ms. Shirley Louann Fahl, 82, of Jacksonville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville with Dr. Derek Staples officiating. Ms. Fahl passed away at her home September 11, 2019, surrounded by her family. Ms. Fahl is preceded in death by her parents, George and Opal Fahl; brothers, Tom, Clarence, Russell, Robert, and Richard Fahl; sisters, her twin, Charlotte McCain, Mary Bourne, and Sandra Rarick; nephews, Dan Balyeat and John Fahl; great-nephew, Kyle Balyeat; and one niece. Ms. Fahl was a native of Indiana and a resident of Jacksonville since the early 1970's. She served in the United States Army from 1968-1971 during the Vietnam Era. She was also a huge New England Patriots fan and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Ms. Fahl was the owner of Caldwell Banker/Shirley Fahl Realty for many years; and served as President of the Board of Realtors. Ms. Fahl is survived by her niece, Lisa Mahieu; sisters, Bonnie Merriman and Norma "Mona" Sotendall; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank RMC, NHC, Jacksonville Senior Center, Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation, New Beacon Hospice, and Ms. Fahl's special caregivers and friends. Pallbearers will be Rodney Stephens, Brandon Mahieu, Ryan Mahieu, and John Ford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Suite 101, Birmingham, AL 35205 (cancer.org); or New Beacon Hospice, 1419 Leighton Ave, Anniston, AL 36207.
