Notes:	CAROLYN SUE (BECK) ROBY, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021. She was a widow of Edgar B. Roby, formerly Magnavox Corporation Government Division and U.S. Navy Corpsman. Born March 15, 1938, in Whitley County, Ind., she attended Washington Center School, Columbia City Joint High School (class of 1956), and Manchester College (elementary education). Carolyn was an award-winning home economics student (a local winner of Homemakers of Tomorrow, 1956), Whitley County 4-H member for nine years, served three years as Washington Township 4-H leader; and was member of Laud Christian Church (where they married in 1959), and Anthony Wayne Church of God in Fort Wayne. She was one of 11 children and a daughter of Ruth D. (Wilson) and Gerald S. Beck, born on a dairy farm outside Columbia City, Ind. The Robys have been residents of Country Club Gardens neighborhood, Times Corner, Fort Wayne, for 57 years, and Carolyn was locally known for sewing alterations services, cake baking creations, Girl and Boy Scout leading, and private daycare services. She enjoyed being a homemaker, mother of four, grandmother of six and great-grandmother of six. She is survived by children, Jeffrey Roby, Christopher Roby and Cynthia (Roby) Murphy; and siblings, Bonnie (Beck) Hollenbaugh, Marilyn (Beck) King, Jerry, Larry, Rex and Gary Beck. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary (Beck) Weybright and Donna Beck; brothers, Richard and Robert Beck; and daughter, Michele (Roby) Eastman. Memorial services pending. Arrangements by Northern Indiana Funeral Care. Published by Fort Wayne Newspapers on Dec. 3, 2021.
