Beverly was born in Muncie Indiana to Dale N. Johnson and Katherine B. (Moore) Johnson on December 25th, 1938. She married Norman Joseph Williams on June 11, 1995 at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She graduated from Purdue University in Fort Wayne. She worked in Administration at several companies including Assistant to the president of WOWO radio, Assistant to the President of Winzler Stamping/Design Institute of America for 15 years and finished her working career as a Nursing Home administrator. She loved to recall her years of arranging Board meetings at the many remote locations while serving as Secretary of the Board at Winzeler Stamping in Montpelier Ohio. At Winzeler she handled the company’s presentations at the Furniture Market where the products were displayed.

Beverly’s memberships include the Red Hat Society and the American Businesswomen’s Association. She loved bringing people together to enjoy each other’s company and was a big supporter of local community activities.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother Katherine Johnson (Moore) and father Dale N. Johnson and three brothers, Steven Johnson, James Johnson, and Max Johnson.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Norman “Joe” Williams and 6 children: Jessica Gallant (Rick) of Florida, Dale Lehman (Lynn) of Indiana, Nancy Matthias (Randy) of Indiana, Jennifer Sharp (Bruce) of Indiana, John Williams (Cindy) of Ohio, and Michael Williams of Florida. After her family that she holds dear, Bev made countless friends over the years that are too numerous to mention. Her home was always an open, generous, and welcoming place for any friends of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Salvation Army as Beverly would often donate to this organization since she loved to help the underprivileged in various ways.

The family of Beverly wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the empath Suncoast Hospice organization for their extraordinary care.

9-6-2014: We live in Florida half the year and Fort Wayne Indiana half the year as we have children and grandchildren in both areas, plus children in Minneapolis and Cincinnati...for a total of 6 children and 26 grandchildren, partly mine and partly Joe's.

Update on 2014 - we are still happily retired year round in a 55+ community in the "Sunshine State" having sold our Indiana home so only have one place to look after. We find we're busier than ever with community activities, which keeps us in better shape. Enjoy entertaining our friends and visitors from the north and trying new foods - shows in our waists....Ha!

Realized that my past positions were in the creative and communication areas - WOWO radio, Advertising Agency, Personnel and working with furniture designers - in addition to a 5 year stint as a Rehab facility administrator working with the elderly. This has served me well as an Ombudsman in Pinellas Co., FL.

Am pleased to say that five of our 6 children have graduated from college with one who had just a senior year to complete....

Grandchildren are a passion with both me and my husband, Joe (we've been married now 20 years). Primarily to love them and make sure they are educated. As of this date 9 are in college - and 5 have graduated.
