Notes:	Robert L. Cole, 65, of Ludlow Falls, Ohio, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Dayton Heart Hospital. Born in Hammond on Aug. 4, 1942, he was a son of Orval and Joy (Hively) Cole. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He retired as a senior project engineer at A.O. Smith. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sandra K. (Hull) Cole, a daughter, Jodi Cole of Huber Heights; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters Sharon Casey of North Carolina, Sheila Spaw and Pat Jagger, both of Indiana and Cheryl Redgate of Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, LCPL Marc Cole and a brother, Bonald Cole. The funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, 53 S. Norwich Road, Troy, with Pastors Dale Christian, Doug Magin and Doug Peters officiating, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton, OH 45383. For those who wish, contributions may be directed to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or a favorite charity. Note: In September 2006 Bob was working on an engineering project in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. NOTE: Wife Sandra passed away February 16, 2018.
