Notes:	Elizabeth Irene Best, 76, of Tacoma, Washington passed away on March 25, 2022. Elizabeth will be missed and is loved by many family and friends. Family is currently working on a more complete obituary. Elizabeth Irene Hicks was born on June 28, 1945 in Indianapolis Indiana to Robert Winslet Hicks and Betty Irene (Henney) Hicks. She had one brother, Robert Steven Hicks, born on March 3, 1948, and two sisters Portia A (Hicks) Clem on April 13, 1951, and Lydia (Hicks) Osborne born on February 7, 1953. She married Argyle Eugene Herron on June 16, 1963 in Columbia City, Indiana. On October 6, 1964 her son Henry Joe Herron was born, and her son Jonathon Jay Best was born on December 13, 1965. Sometime after her son Jonathon was born she divorced her husband. In July 1967 she married her second husband Virgil Darrell Profit Spencer. He had 3 sons from his first marriage: Daniel J. Alexander Profit Spencer born on January 18, 1956; Tracy Allen Profit Spencer born on February 7, 1957; and Nathan R Profit Spencer born on March 31, 1958. On December 26, 1969 in Owosso, Michigan their daughter Beth Lorena Profit Spencer was born. On December 13, 1973 her husband Virgil passed away. In the summer of 1974 she met Richard Edward Best and they were married on December 20, 1974. She moved to Fort Lewis, Washington where he was stationed. In the early Spring of 1976 they moved into a house that they were purchasing. In the of 1976 Richard was given orders to go to Germany and three months later Elizabeth and their children followed to Vilseck, Germany, where they lived until the summer of 1981. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Robert W Hicks (1989), her husband Virgil D P Spencer (1973), her husband Richard E Best (2000), her mother Betty I Hicks (2006), and her brother Robert S Hicks (2009). Elizabeth passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2022 at 11:15 pm, while her daughter Beth and her granddaughter Halee held her hand. She is survived by her 2 sons, Henry and Jonathon Herron, two stepsons Daniel and Tracy Spencer, two stepdaughters Kimberly and Clara, her daughter Beth Lorena Profit Spencer, plus 15 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Portia A. (Kenneth) Clem, Columbia City, Indiana and Lydia D. (Tom) Osborn, Indianapolis, Indiana.
