Notes:	JOHN D. NELSON, 60, Fort Wayne, a former resident of Columbia City, died at 10:20 pm Saturday in the Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Wolf Lake on November 7, 1946, a son of Ronald and Christina Imogene Egner Nelson. His formative years were spent in Columbia City where he completed his education in the Columbia City Joint High School. Mr. Nelson was a truck driver. The surviving relatives include a daughter, Chelsea Nelson, Muncie; a brother, Thomas (Katharina) Nelson, Fort Meyers, Florida and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Peterman. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, April 27, 2007 in the South Park Annex Cemetery with Dr. C. James Cress, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, officiating. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
