Trois "Tro" "Nina" Ray, 70, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her home. Born February 2, 1948 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Merlin A. Rice and Mary (Baker) Rice.

She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1966. She worked at Essex Wire, Magnavox, Central Soya and retired in 2011 from Raytheon.

On June 2, 1989 she married Dennis M. Ray. She had been a member of the Coesse United Methodist Church, American Legion and Job's Daughters.

Survivors include her husband, Denny Ray; daughter, Aimee (Mark) Noragon, of Columbia City; sister, Patty Felver, of South Whitley; brother, Jim (Cheryl) Rice, of Columbia City; sister, Alice Rice, of Albion; grandchildren, Tyler Noragon, Baley (Eric) Davies and Ryce Noragon; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Boyles; and brother, Merlin R. Rice.

Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Grable officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory toward her final expenses, I.C.O. DeMoney-Grimes.
