John and I have been married 49 years. In February of 2018 we will celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary. John worked for NIPSCO until he retired.I was able to stay home and take care of our kids.He is a wonderful husband. My husband still sends me flowers on my birthday and anniversary.We have traveled a lot. It has been so much fun.

Our three children have all grown and are still married to their original spouses. My in-law kids are my kids too. We have a total of six grandchildren ranging in age from 6 to 24.

Grandson Ryan graduated from Columbia City this year.I remember when I graduated; I looked out in the audience to find my family and saw my grandparents: now I am a grandparent.

Our 6 year old grandson Cole is starting first grade this year. I told our daughter we are planning to attend his graduation even if the senior citizen van has to transport us.

Several years ago we went to Disney world with our daughters family. I have only one granddaughter. My daughter, granddaughter, and me attended the Disney Princess Breakfast. My granddaughter and me were thrilled to meet the Princess.

I recently went for an eye exam. The doctor told me I should be seeing better than I do. When I told him how old my spectacles were he told me to replace them. So no matter what time has done to any of us you will all look wonderful to me.
