In addition to his father, Roger is preceded in death by his brother, Robert G. Mosher.

Roger knew at the age of 15 that he wanted to be a "newspaper man." He followed that dream by starting out in the early 1970s at the Huntington, Indiana Herald-Press. His career progressed upwards at the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette during the 20 years he served there.

Roger was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many adventures with his Batavia and Indiana friends. He was known to all to be a kind and generous man of high values. Most of all, he dearly loved his wife and daughter.

In addition to his mother, Roger is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Dressler) Mosher of Batavia; daughter, Melanie Mosher of Indianapolis; sister, Lonnie (Don) Gillespie of Endicott, N.Y. along with several nieces and nephews.
