Notes:	Janet K. VanWey-Myers, age 57, of Fort Wayne, IN died at 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN. She had been in failing health since February of 2006. Born in Fort Wayne, Allen County on October 1, 1949, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Riola F. (Taylor) VanWey. She lived most of her lifetime in Whitley County residing at her present home in Aboite Township, Allen County, since 1994. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1968 and she attended Purdue Computer Science Program for 2 years. For 30 years, she was co-owner of Forsite Service Bureau, Inc., a consulting service, Fort Wayne, IN. Since 2003, she was employed at Bobick's Golf Headquarters, Fort Wayne, IN. She was a member of the American Legion, Fort Wayne, IN and was an avid bowler, pool player and loved to mow grass. She is survived by long-time companion, Byron R. Shively of Fort Wayne, IN; mother, Riola F. VanWey of Columbia City, IN; sister, Jean F. Jagger of Columbia City, IN; brother, James S. (Barbara) VanWey of South Whitley, IN and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert E. VanWey who died in 1974. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2007 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the funeral home with Eddie Beagles and Sharon Brockhaus, funeral celebrants, along with Pastor Craig A. Myers of Blue River Church of the Brethren officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove (Compton) Cemetery, Columbia City, IN. Memorial bequests may be given in memory of Janet to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
