Notes:	Steven Allen Johnson, 17, who suffered a skull fracture and other head injuries at 10:35 a.m. Monday in a one-car accident about 1½ miles west on the Old Trail, died at 2:10 p.m. Monday June 1, 1970, in Parkview Hospital at Fort Wayne. He was the son of Mrs. Katherine Bernice Moore Johnson, and resided with his mother at 329 North Main Street. His father is Dale N. Johnson, R 8, owner of the Columbia Home Improvement Co., R2. Steven was born in Columbia City on April 17, 1953. Monday was the accident victim’s last day as a junior at the Columbia City Joint High School. He would have been a senior there in September. The youth is survived by his parents; two brothers, Max Johnson of Fort Wayne and James Johnson, R 8; three sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Beverly) Coburn of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Nick (Mary) McManama, R 1, and Kathy Johnson at home. The body is at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday. At noon Thursday it will be taken to Faith Baptist Church to lie in state until the hour of the funeral service. The Rev. Morris Scutt, pastor of the church, will officiate at the memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday. Committal services and burial will follow at the Nolt Cemetery.
