Notes:	NANCY CAROLYN BOWSER, 57, died suddenly at home in Selma, IN, Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. Born May 5, 1954, in Fort Wayne, IN. Nancy was a longtime resident of Selma who attended Selma United Methodist Church regularly. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1972 and went on to graduate Purdue Nursing School in 1975. Nancy worked in the nursing field most of her adult life and had in the past several years worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Nancy was proud to be a longtime member of the Indiana National Guard, rising to the rank of Major. She travelled to Belize, Central America to volunteer service to the local population and sponsored a child there. Nancy lived with her mother Pat for many years, sharing numerous travel experiences including the East Coast for whale-watching excursions and, in Pat's last trip before her death in 2009, a month-long tour of Ireland. Surviving is her son, Christopher Bowser of Muncie, father Ed (Thelma) Bowser of Defiance, OH, brother Ed (Robbin) Bowser of Fort Wayne, IN, sister Charity Wilson of Temecula, CA, nephews Charles and James Bowser, nieces Serenity (Bill) Gordon and Stephanie Wilson. Calling is at The Meeks Mortuary, 415 East Washington Street, Muncie, IN 47305 5pm to 8pm, Thursday, December 8. Services will be held at Selma United Methodist Church, 400 North Country Road, 600 East, Selma, IN 47383, at 1pm, Friday, December 9, with calling one hour prior.
