I started my teaching career in 1977 at Elmhurst High School in Ft. Wayne and taught there for four years. I took four years "off" with my children and then went back to teaching and have been at Whitko since 1986 as an eighth grade English teacher. I have three adult children - twins Jessica and Jamie, and Allison. I have been single since 1991. I enjoy spending time with my family,reading,working on and around my house, and sight-seeing. I am still very active in music as I play hand bells and sing in the choir at church. Life is good!
