Notes:	Steven Bruce Hawk, 50, of Morning Sun [Iowa] died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born March 22, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Ind., he was the son of Bert and Shirley Carroll Hawk. On April 28, 2000, he married Tammy L. Spitznogle in Wapello. Mr. Hawk worked as an over-the-road truck driver, last working for Adrian Trucking of Richland. He enjoyed sports, video games, movies and time with family, especially grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Larry Friend of Columbia City, Ind.; eight children, Priscilla Dominguez and Carrie Pendleton, both of Morning Sun, Eulalia Salazar of Grinnell, Marshall Alvarez of Coralville, Cody Hawk of Columbia City, and Jasper Hawk, JoAnna Hawk and Brexton Hawk, all at home; several foster children; nine grandchildren; one sister, Millisa Burdette of Kimmel, Ind.; and two brothers, Jeff Hawk of Kendallville, Ind., and Robert Hawk of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by one daughter, his father and one infant brother. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello, where the family will receive friends. The funeral for Mr. Hawk will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cindy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery.
