Notes:	HOLLY E. TAYLOR-SHAW, 42, a native of Jefferson Township, Whitley County, died at 6:05 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2006 at her home. She had been in failing health for the past 16 months. She was born November 21, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana a daughter of Glen E. "Pete" and Bonnie Joan (Schuman) Taylor. Her formative years were spent in Jefferson Township and she graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1982. She received her Bachelor of Psychology degree from Taylor University. She was employed at Magnavox, CVS Pharmacy at Times Corner and Englewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. On August 27, 2005 she was united in marriage to Vernon Shaw. They have always made their home in LaPorte County. She was baptized in Jefferson Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of Columbia City United Methodist Church where she served on the Praise Team. A professional vocalist, she was also a volunteer at Erin's House for Grieving Children. Surviving relatives include her husband, Vernon; two step sons, Brenon Shaw of Ohio and Caleb Shaw of LaPorte County; her mother, Bonnie Joan Taylor; and three sisters, Susan (Art) McClish, Kristine (Ron) Richey and Dana (Kevin) Jagger, all of Columbia City. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Erin's House or American Cancer Society.
