Patrick Ryan Wesseler, 31, of Straughn, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 17, 1982, in Richmond, to Jamie and Susan (Singer) Wesseler.

Patrick graduated from Columbia City High School with the class of 2001 and received his bachelors degree in communications from the University of Southern Indiana in 2006.

He was a well known on-air radio personality, most recently as "Big P" on Evansville radio 103GBF. Patrick enjoyed competing in martial arts, watching movies, and writing stories and screenplays.

Surviving relatives include his parents of Richmond; sisters, Jacquelyn (Daniel) Love of Newberg, Ore, Anna Wesseler (fiancee Andy Villa) of North Carolina; former spouse, Alicia Stone of Saint Louis, Mo.; step-son, Kobe Stone of Saint Louis; very close friend, Stephanie Wagner; paternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Wesseler of Cambridge City; maternal step-grandmother, Helen Meyer-Singer of Cambridge City; uncles and aunts, Tom and Brenda Munchel of Pershing, Mike Singer (fiancee Hui Yu) of Chicago, Ill., Jeff and Cheryl Perry of Columbia City, Jim Singer of Cambridge City, Michele Singer of Cambridge City, Dennis and Terri Orndorff of Greenfield, Mark and Lisa McClain of Cambridge City, Marc and Karen Wesseler of Chicago; and many cousins.

Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ben Singer on Feb. 24, 2013, and Jackie Singer April 4, 1996; uncle, Gary Singer Dec. 14, 1990.

Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 1993 Cumberland St., Dublin. Pastor Chris Sitler will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Cambridge City.
