David L. Bingham, 47, died Thursday, September 14, 2000 at the VA Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born September 18, 1952 in Noble County, a son of Edna Gordon, he attended Churubusco schools through grade 7 and then attended high school at Columbia City.

His adult years were spent in the Tri Lakes and Columbia City areas and he has resided at his Etna-Troy Township home since 1994.

On January 2, 1998, he married Pamela J. Blain in Columbia City.

An avid gardener and woodworker, he was a construction worker for the Fort Wayne Construction Labor Union.

In addition to his wife, Pamela J., he is survived by three sons, Heath Lee Bingham, Columbia City, Clint David Bingham and Chad Richard Bingham, both of Texas, and his mother, Edna Yagel Hardy, Ark.

The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 16 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home in Columbia City, with Rev. Curtiss Johnson officiating. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial is at Pleasant Grove (Snodgrass) Cemetery.

Note: Passed away due to complications from Hepatitis C.
