Notes:	Debra Lynn Grunawalt-Mullins, age 65, of Churubusco, IN, passed away at 10:18 am on Saturday June 11, 2022, at her residence. Born on January 26, 1957, in Huntington, she was the daughter of Glines and Dixie (Caudill) Mullins. Debra attended Columbia City Joint High School. She worked for several local companies including Viking, Big G’s, and 11th Frame. Debra also cleaned for Westport Homes and built furniture. In her free time Debra enjoyed anything that had to with horses and dogs, flowers and gardening, and cooking for everyone at VFW Post #3846, Churubusco. She was also a member of American Legion Post #98, Columbia City and Post #157 Churubusco. Survivors include her son Travis (Heather Civiletto) Grunawalt of Fort Wayne; companion of over 25 years Mike Strifler of Churubusco; step-children Dureen (Jason) Jackson of Keokuk,IA and Christopher Strifler of Washington State; grandchildren Cole and Callie Civiletto; siblings Johneine (Todd) Clingerman and Jeff Mullins, both of Columbia City; nephews Grady (Kelsie) Clingerman and Wesley (Rhonda) Watson; beloved dogs Decon and Shady. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Donna Mullins, and sister Sundra Watson. A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held from 1-4 pm on Sunday June 26, 2022, at VFW Post # 3846, 109 North Main Street, Churubusco. Arrangements by DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Memorial contributions in memory of Debra may be made to Whitley County Humane Society or VFW Post # 3846, Churubusco.
