Notes:	Donald Raymond Fowler, 56, of Star City [Indiana], died Thursday morning, July 11, 2013 at his home. He was born July 1, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Indiana a son of William E. and Sadie (Miracle) Fowler. His formative years were spent in Columbia City. He was last employed at Brauns in Winamac. Surviving relatives include two children, Penny Fowler of Hudson and Donald E. (Amanda) Fowler of Columbia City; four grandchildren, Patrick Ittner, Ashley Ittner, Hailey Jackson and Wesley Fowler; his companion, Karen Brewer of Star City; and her sons, Curtis McMunn of Star City and Jeremy Gregson of Gary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Fowler. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The burial will be Monday in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Preferred memorials are to American Cancer Society.
