She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Lynn and Nelson Seward and one great grandson.

Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to Noon at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will conclude at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Notes from 3-29-17:

My father farmed large acreages for owners, and I lived in 12 schools before graduating. Eventually he saved enough to buy his own farm in Wisconsin, where he spent the rest of his day.

I've been in a nursing home for the past two years but can be contacted via my daughter Wanda Shumway, Polo, IL 61064.
