of Columbia City, IN passed away at 5:30 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born on December 10, 1938 in Gary, she was the daughter of Lyman Walter and Mary Lucile (Rockenstein) Scott.

Lois spent her childhood in Columbia City and graduated from Columbia City Joint High with the Class of 1956. She attended St. Francis University and then moved to LasVegas in 1971, returning to Columbia City in 1996. She was homemaker and a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, Columbia City.

Survivors include her brother, Martin L. Scott, Fort Wayne. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyman Walter and Mary Lucile Scott and 1 brother Larry.

Visitation will be held from 1-3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Gary Sigler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorial bequests may be given in Ms. Scott memory to masses to the church or Parkview Whitley Home Health Care and Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
