A lifelong resident of Columbia City, she graduated with the Class of 1956 from Columbia City High School. On March 3, 1956, she married Donald E. Sievers in Columbia City. For 30 years, she worked at Weatherhead Corporation (DANA) of Columbia City. She was a member of Graceland Ministries, Columbia City.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Donald E. Sievers of Columbia City; children, Debbie (Darl) Snodgrass, Victor (Brenda) Sievers, Lisa (Willie) Kincaid, Mark (Penni) Sievers all of Columbia City; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred (Sharon) Cearbaugh of Columbia City; sister, Carol (Ed) Hull of Columbia City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Hull and Jean Nicolet and brother, Richard Cearbaugh.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Columbia City.

Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Sievers to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Please visit www.demoneygrimes.com to send family condolences or sign the guest register. ">
