of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away Friday morning October 6, 2017, 3:30 a.m., at Hope Hospice of Fort Myers, FL. Neile was born March 1, 1944, in Rensselaer, Indiana, the fifth child of Joseph B. and Beulah M.(Lake) Dalton.

She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1962 and later attended modeling school in Phoenix, AZ, where she worked as a model for several years. In 1976, Neile opened The Gingerbread House, a children's clothing boutique, in Columbia City. In later years, Neile worked as an Interior Designer for Masterpiece Homes, Inc, and helped many families create an inviting and comfortable home of their dreams.

Neile loved reading, boating, golf, tennis, playing cards and Mah Jong, and spending time with her family and friends. Neile will always be remembered by her ready laugh, her quick wit, and her love of family.

Survivors include her children, Robyn (Eric) Ford of Mooresville, NC and Heath (Angela) Hyndman of Kendallville, IN; stepchildren, Michelle (Tony) Patrick of Fort Wayne, Brian (Kim Carpenter)Ternet of Fort Wayne, and Adam (Amber) Ternet of Indianapolis; brother, Joe (Jackie) Dalton of St. Louis, MO, and sister Betty (Paul) Bills of Columbia City, IN; former husband Jack (Cathy) Hyndman of Columbia City; grandchildren Madison, Samantha, Emma, Brock, Logan, Calie, Jackson, Alexa, Jake, Hugh, and Sam; and many extended family members and friends.

Neile is preceded in death by her husband, Terence L. Ternet (June 30, 2008); by her parents, Joseph B. and Beulah M. Dalton; by a brother, Wayne Dalton, and by sisters Josie (Dalton) Nester and Grace (Dalton) Lowe.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Wednesday October 11, 2018, at Gulf Harbour Country Club, 14500 Vista River Drive, Fort Myers, FL from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

A memorial service will also be held at a future date in Fort Wayne, IN.
