gained her angel wings on March 11, 2023 at her home in Lady Lake, FL. Mariann was 78 years old.

Mariann's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here.

Mariann was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of gardening, an avid lover of all flowers and an amazing mother and grandmother. When Mariann wasn't working or gardening, she could be found in her home enjoying her family and friends. Not a day went by where Mariann didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Mariann is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Julie) Ferguson, Lisa (John) Moore, her grandchildren Jeni Calame, John Jones, Amanda (Jc) Garcia, Rohni (Joseph) Lange, and Johni (Mariah) Storey, great grandchildren, Jaiden, Brennan, Ellie, Haley, Zachariah, Mikayla, Savannah, Rylee, Noah, Jaycen, Colton, Braxton, Jaxson, and Amelia, two great great grandchildren Addison and Hannah and countless friends.

Mariann was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Dorothy Esterline, late husbands, James Ferguson and William Lindsay, and many friends she made along the way.

Per her wishes, there will be no services or arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Alzheimer's association, an organization that is close to Mariann and the family's hearts.


Per 6-29-2008 update: After 22 years of living in Florida, we are tired of hurricanes! We have purchased lake front property up by Chain of Lakes State Park and are moving home this summer. I have been widowed for 7 years and look forward to coming home in order to be close again to family and friends. Occupation--Coldwell Banker Real Estate. ">
