On August 12, 1972, he married Darlene Cox at Saturn Church of God. In 2001, he retired from Weatherhead. Jeff loved being with his family and his five grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved the outdoors and sitting around the fire pit.

Survivors include his wife and best friend of 45 years, Darlene Clack; daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Sheets, of Columbia City and Amie (Josh) Godfrey, of Grayslake, Ill.; sister, Cathy Sincroft, of Warsaw; grandchildren, Robby Sheets, Ryan Sheets, Kyndra Sheets, Riley Godfrey and Olivia Godfrey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jerry and James Clack.

Jeff's request was for a private family service. He will be laid to rest at Oak Grove (Compton) Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be given in his memory to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Arrangements with DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. ">
