passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in Indianapolis. He was buried in Cicero Saturday, March 7, 2009.

He was born Oct. 28, 1952 in Angola to Richard and Betty Haworth. He worked for Commercial Credit Group as a district sales manager. Robert graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1971 and from Purdue University in 1976.

He is survived by his father, Richard; stepmother, Norma; brother, William Haworth, Indianapolis; sister, Diane Haworth, Holland, Mich.; stepsisters, Susan (James) McQueen, Cheryl (Jerry) Geiger, Barbara (Steven) Crozier; stepbrothers, Michael (Jill) Sheets and Dennis (Diane) Sheets, all of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty and stepmother, Doris Haworth.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 Saturday at Columbia City United Methodist Church with memorial services to follow. Pastor Paul Arnold will be officiating.

Robert Haworth, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
He was born October 28, 1952, in Angola, to Richard and Betty (Vannice) Haworth.

Robert worked for Commercial Credit Group as a District Sales Manager.

He graduated from Purdue University in 1976, was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, and also served on their board of directors.

He is survived by his father, Richard (& Norma) Haworth of Columbia City; a brother, William Haworth of Indianapolis; and a sister, Diane Haworth of Holland, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his mother.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating. Friends may call Friday, March 6, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Purdue chapter of Phi Delta Theta Education Foundation, or the Childrens Guardian Home, 5751 University Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219. Messages of condolence may be left here on Talk of the Town for the Haworth family">
