Notes:	William Russell “Bill” Medley, 63, North Manchester, Indiana, joined his daughter Heather Ann Medley in Heaven on September 26, 2022. The son of Russell and Martha (Williams) Medley, Bill was born on March 20, 1959, in Columbia City, Indiana. After graduating from Columbia High School High School in 1977, Bill joined the United States Navy. Following his service to his country, he began working for DePuy in November of 1980. He worked as a distribution clerk and retired in August of 2012 after thirty-two years of service. Bill was also a member of the United Steelworkers Union for many years. Bill’s life changed forever on March 24, 1985, when he went on a blind date with Donna McKenzie. The first time Bill saw Donna, he told her he was going to marry her, and six months later he made good on that promise on September 28, 1985. Bill was a devoted, loving, honest husband and father who had a big heart for those he loved and would do anything for them. He was a silent force who was forever steadfast in both his faith and politics. The loving memory of William “Bill” Medley will be forever cherished by his wife, Donna Medley, North Manchester; son, Aaron C. Medley, Indianapolis; mother, Martha Medley, Fort Wayne; brother, Joe (April) Medley, Fort Wayne; sister, Brenda (Anthony) Boze, Morristown, Tennessee; and dog, Lucy. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Russell Medley; sister, Carolyn Cull; and daughter Heather Medley, who passed away in 2004. Family and friends may call Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. His son, Aaron Medley, and cousin, Greg Bennett, will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, Indiana. For those who wish to honor the memory of William “Bill” Medley, memorial contributions may be made to Wabash Cancer Society, P.O. 144, North Manchester, Indiana 46962. 1-15-2019 note: My Wife & I have two kids: Heather Ann (deceased at age 16 ) & Aaron 19 a freshman at Ball State majoring in criminal justice and on the dean list. We have three maltise dogs, the white dog gang. I worked for Depuy as a distribution clerk for 28 years. Ive been blessed I'm a very different person than who i was in high school. I found Jesus Christ at age 37 in the middle of 7th street the DC at a Promise Keepers event. If you see me out and about white hair and all be sure to say hello.
