I became a funeral director in 1993 and started teaching funeral service technology at East Mississippi Community College in 1996. I worked there in various administrative positions, ending up as Executive Vice President. I left EMCC in December of 07. I hold a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration and a PhD in Sociology.

I'm the Sociology Program Director at the University of Saint Francis in Ft. Wayne. We're building a house with Habitat for Humanity this week, and I'm a volunteer with the Northeast Indiana Readers Radio Service in Ft. Wayne.

I organized a grant for the Allen County Public Library for a traveling Abraham Lincoln exhibit that will be here in June 2010, so I hope to see you there!
