Jason Paul Watson, age 36, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 2:31 a.m. on Thursday December 25, 2014 at his residence. Born on August 28, 1978 in Fort Atkinson, WI, he was the son of Dan and Cheryl (Lilly) Watson.

Jason attended Whitley County schools and graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1998. He attended Columbia City United Methodist Church.

Jason worked in automotive sales and was also proud to be a stay at home dad. He enjoyed playing poker, watching Green Bay Packers football, traveling to Wisconsin, and playing video games.

Jason is survived by his parents Dan and Cheryl Watson of Larwill; companion Melissa Herendeen; a daughter Nevaeh and a son Hayden Watson, all of Columbia City; sisters DeAnna (Mitchell) Watson-Fireoved of Fort Wayne and Darcy (Aaron)Gaff of Columbia City; paternal grandparents Pete and Jean Watson of Westbend, WI. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dewey and Laura Lilly, aunt Jewel O'Hanlon, and uncle David Watson.

Memorial visitation is 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday December 29, 2014 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. A Memorial service for Jason will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
