Bob took over his father's funeral home and retired from DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home in 1997. He was a member of Columbia City United Methodi
st Church and ministered to so many members by transporting them to medical appointments. He was a long-time member and Past President of the Columbia City Rotary Club. He proudly served as President of Old Settlers.

Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn D. (Richard) Culliton of Brooklyn, NY; sons, Michael A. (Anitra) DeMoney of San Jose', CA; David W. (Charlotte) DeMoney of Antibes, France; grandchildren, Emily F. and Kathleen D. Culliton, Scott S. DeMoney, Eric and Daniel DeMoney. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Virginia F. "Ginnie" DeMoney [June 5, 1998].

Visitation will be from 3-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor David Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at South Park (Annex) Cemetery, Columbia City.

Memorials may be given in memory of Mr. DeMoney to Columbia City United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.

NOTE: Robert J. DeMoney married Virginia after the death of his first wife, Vila Danford DeMoney, in 1944.
