a lifelong resident of Columbia Township, Whitley County, died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne where he was admitted the day before.

He was born September 15, 1948 in Whitley County, Indiana a son of Kenneth M. and Marianne (Waters) Wolfe. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School.

On March 31, 1972 he was united in marriage to Rebecca S. Trimmer.

He was employed as a mechanic.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Becky; three children, Kimberly Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Troy (Susan) Wolfe of South Whitley and Sara Wolfe Timms of Columbia City; four grandsons, Trey Wolfe, Kyle Wolfe, Brandon Timms and Noah Timms; and two brothers, Kelly Wolfe of Columbia City and Kevin Wolfe of Urbana.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wolfe.

The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home. The burial will be in Eberhard Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the final expense account at Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
