Notes:	Died at age 22 in a traffic accident on April 6, 1938. Per Findagrave.com: Leonard was involved in an automobile accident while traveling to his job at the Gary Tin Mills. Leonard and his friend, Charles Egolf, Jr., both died in a LaPorte hospital within hours of the crash [The automobile was a convertible]. Leonard had married Ardith Dowell on 12 February 1938. She was not with him at the time of the accident but was able to get to the hospital before he died [This information came from Leonard's niece, Elizabeth Orcutt Jackson]. Obituary in Columbia City Post April 8, 1938 Pg 1; and April 11, 1938, Pg 6. Buried Graceland Cemetery, LaPorte County, Indiana.
