Notes:	Thomas Adair Bennett, age 84, of Spring City, [TN] passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born January 26, 1928 in Whitley County, IN, the youngest of 6 children to Fredrick and Margaret Adair Bennett. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army. In May 1955, Mr. Bennett married Joan Marie Clifford and in 1965 moved to Spring City where they purchased the Arrowhead Resort. In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by daughter, Vicki Bennett of Little Rock, Ark; daughter-in-law, Louanne Bennett of Spring City; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Bennett of Chattanooga and Kara Bennett, a student at the University College of Dublin, Ireland. Preceding him in death were his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and his son, Robert Bennett who died in July, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evensville, TN with Rev. Joseph Jacks officiating and Deacon Charles Beam and James Stuard assisting. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Hospitality House of Methodist Medical Foundation, PO Box 2529, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-9924.
