Notes:	Post and Mail August 28, 2007: April 21, 1932 - Aug. 26, 2007 Patricia "Pat" L. Anderson Patricia "Pat" L. Anderson, 75, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Waukegan, Ill., on April 21, 1932, a daughter of David and Ethel (Effinger) Porter, she graduated from Columbia City High School and received her R.N. from Purdue and B.S.N. from St. Francis. She was a registered nurse with St. Joe Hospital for 12 years and also worked at Visiting Nurse Service, V.A. Hospital, Public Health Nurse for Allen County and the Lutheran Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with friends. Survivors include sons, Dr. Drew Anderson of Muncie; and David Anderson of Fort Wayne; three granddaughters; and very special friends, Ivan and Jackie Detwiler of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday, at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior. Gregg Parris will officiate. Calling also 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial is at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana, 2925 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
