Notes:	Orous W. Johnson, age 68, of Columbia City, IN died at 6:43 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, IN. He was born in Allen County, IN on December 6, 1937 to Edgar Raymond and Daisie A. (Stuart) Johnson, Sr. A lifetime Whitley County resident, he graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1956. He worked at Dana Weatherhead and retired in 1999 from C.F. Gomma after 30 years of service at age 62, where he was active in the UAW. He was also a general farmer. Survivors include 1 sister, Marjorie Ann (Robert) Phend of South Whitley, IN; nieces Rebecca "Becky" and Rose Phend, Michelle Johnson and nephews Michael Phend, and Alvin and Patrick McMeans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Aseneth Jane McMeans and Juanita Elaine Lake Stahl, 1 brother, Edgar Raymond "Buddy" Johnson, Jr; and 3 nephews, Mark Johnson and Ronald and Robert McMeans. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m Saturday, November 25, 2006 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Drive Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the funeral home with Eddie Beagles and Sharon Brockhaus, Certified Funeral Celebrants, officiating. Burial will be private at Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City, IN Memorial bequests may be given in Mr. Johnson's memory to MDA.
